1.Do you still talk to the first person you kissed?
I'm assuming this doesn't include relatives. No, not really. I stumbled across her on Facebook, but but we don't really keep in touch.
2. Have you ever seen your best friend(s) naked?
Some of them yes, some no. Sadly, more men fall into the yes category than women.
3. What did you do when you weren't in school in the 2nd grade?
SECOND grade?? I don't remember back that far... I think I spent a lot of time at my babysitter's place. I might have been in Beavers around that time as well, and might have started piano lessons by that point.
4. What is the best thing about your job?
That I get to sit on my freaking couch at home all day! Man, remote-working is sweet.
5. Pro choice or pro life?
Pro choice, my friend.
6. How many people have you kissed?
I haven't really kept count, but at a guess, the non-relative list probably tops out at less than ten. Frighteningly, Lee Baxendale is on that list. *shudder*
7. Did you vote for Bush?
I'm Canadian, but if I had a US vote I would have burned my ballot rather than vote for that turd.
8. Where are you going on your next vacation?
I will probably never go on vacation again. I'm too old to go on holiday with my parents, and going by myself is just sad and pathetic. I will never have another girlfriend, so no more vacations for me I guess. I may possibly go on a road trip at some point, if that counts.
10. Are most of your friends guys or girls?
Uh... total count? I think it might be about even, possibly leaning towards the "girls" end of the spectrum. I don't like a lot of guy things (i.e. sports, cars, retardation), so I don't get along well with most of them.
11. Do you own any furniture from IKEA?
Here's another one of those silly questionnaire things, this one copied from Lauren (who copied from someone else, etc. etc.).
12 random girls...
Would number 4 ever kiss the same sex?
I doubt it, but how well do you ever really know a person?
What's number 5's favorite show?
I'm gonna guess Firefly, though it could be Buffy or Venture Bros.
Who was the last person number 11 went out with?
Dear God... the last person I remember her going out with was Richard, but that was a long time ago...
Who does number 8 like?
She's got some boyfriend. Stumpy fellow. Can't remember his name. Seemed nice enough.
Did you ever like number 9 as more than a friend?
Not really, but then again most of the time I've known her I've been attached.
Is number 6 attractive?
Hell yes.
Do you have number 2's number?
You know, I think I do have her mobile number. Being in another country, though, it's been ages since I've sent her a text.
How did you meet number 5?
Via Keith/Phil.
Have you ever went out of town with number 10?
Nope, pretty-much just went to high school together.
Does number 9 hate anyone?
Hahaha more people than I can recall. Especially religious fanatics. ;)
What's the best thing about number 12?
The best thing? One thing? Gawd... Fun to talk to about common interests I guess tops the list.
Would you ever date number 6 or 8?
Yep, if they were single (8 is engaged, 6 is status unknown) and could get past my beastly appearance and abrasive personality.
Do you think number 1 will die a virgin?
Ok, so now you know when I was little I peed in a pool. *shakes fist* Anyway, here's the original list for you to find your own total:
I'm not sure if I'm supposed to get any caveats here? I mean, for example, 1.c - my kiss with Lee was because I made a threat and he called my bluff before I had a chance to run away. Ok, well, keep in mind things are not always as they seem.

Leave one memory that you and I had together. It doesn't matter if you knew me a little or a lot, anything you remember! Don't send a message, leave a comment on here. Next, re-post this in your blog and see how many people leave a memory about you. It's actually pretty cool (and funny) to see the responses. Repost as "memories."
For those of you starting to wonder, these are all for the same date, just from different sites and services.
1. What specific advice would you give to someone moving into your neighborhood? - The clean community look is quite important here, so please do not leave junk or garbage in your yard or large Christmas decorations up longer than necessary.
2. What specific advice would you give to someone beginning a job at your workplace (or attending school where you study, or, if you’re neither a student nor employed, doing whatever it is you do with your days)? - Take lots of notes for yourself and don't be afraid to ask questions for help when you get stuck.
3. What specific advice would you give to someone who wants to begin an online journal or blog? - Do it because you want to do it, and don't care if you have an audience or not, or what any audience says or might say to you about what you post.
4. What specific advice would you give to someone who wants to take up a hobby you’re really into? - Take it at your own pace, and make sure your limits and goals are reasonable (financial commitment, deadlines, quality, distance, etc.) I am not specific because I am into several hobbies.
5. What specific advice would you give to someone who wants to marry your closest, unmarried friend? - Make sure you treat each other with respect at all times (plus the "golden rule" if you can), be willing to at least consider compromise from time to time and every once in a while let them have their way and another time they may be more willing to let you have yours. Above all, do your best never to go to bed angry with your partner.
1. If you had to choose being blind or deaf, what would you choose and why? - Deaf because for me sight is more important and harder to tune out than sound. Without sight, the world can sometimes be really dull and flat. For example, which would be more interesting, a rainy day where you can hear differences in the sound of rain on different objects, or a warm sunny day where there is no wind? You would not be able to gather much info at all about the sunny day.
2. What is the best smell? - Though it may sound odd, the best smell to me is that of my significant other. Even though he keeps himself clean and wears deodorant, the bit of him that gets through to me when I am close to him is the best scent in the world.
3. Would you rather be hot or cold? - Cold because I can put on more layers or turn up the heat. Being hot can make me feel sick because I don't cool off well.
4. What's the worst feeling in the world? - I'd say it's a tie between loneliness and fear.
5. Would you rather have something hurt or something be itchy? - If the hurt is an ache, then hurt because minor itches are easiest for me to make go away by temporarily making the site ache, but also aches are constant enough that you can often tune them out while you can't easily tune out an itch. But if the hurt is more painful, then I guess an itch would be better
1. When was the last time you felt at least a little foolish? - Last night. I was at a laser tag arena with some of my co-workers and I had a minor freakout when I ran into a hanging netting in the dark (I'm kind of afraid of spiders). I got laughed at by some young teen guys.
2. What is the most zany thing you've done in the name of fun? - Zip lines when I was a kid
3. How well do you receive practical jokes? - I don't usually take them very well, they're not really that funny because the ones I get played on me are often hurtful instead of just in jest.
4. Which topics or aspects of life do you feel should be off-limits from jokes? - sexual orientation/preferences, finances, personal habits, visual features, anything that could make a person feel self conscious or lesser than themselves. I also don't feel a joke should physically hurt a person either.
5. What's the funniest practical joke or prank you've heard about or thought up? - Heard about several office decorating schemes either covering everything in a material like tinfoil or post-it notes, or else filling the office with something that would spill out when the office was opened.
So I figured that I needed more content in my journal, but didn't really care to start regularly posting more in my journal about my daily life because I'm fairly certain that the vast majority of the people who skim my entries don't care a bit about my entries. Instead, I am going to start posting my answers to various sets of question like those that are/used to be found on sites like fridayfive.org. As you can see, today is Sunday, but due to the way my work schedule works, you won't likely see my answers actually on a Friday. I'm putting this under the quiz category on electeaparty.net because it's questions, but it's not like the other quizzes that initially created this category. Also, though I suspect I will be the only person doing this, I would still be interested in seeing any answers posted by other interested users.
So to start with ...
Friday Fiver for March 30, 2007
1. What web browser do you use? - I use Firefox as much as I can, though occasionally at work I am forced to use Internet Explorer
2. What email client do you use? - At work I use Outlook, but at home I use Mail (a Macintosh app)
3. What type of Internet connection do you have at home? - I have a cable connection
4. What kinda of computer do you have? - At the moment I have both a PC and a Mac, and though Linux is also out there, I feel that for me Mac is close enough
5. When did you first get 'online'? - Sometime in the early to mid 1990's, around about the time that 14.4K modems were pretty normal and 28.8K ones were just starting to be in the computers other kids had at home.
